500k.io publishes daily. Sometimes we get something wrong. When that happens, we fix it in the open and log it here. This is how that works.
1. Our policy
When we discover a factual error in an article — a wrong number, a misattributed quote, an outdated price, a broken claim — we do three things:
- Mark the original error inline (strikethrough or italicized "Update:" note) so readers can see what changed.
- Bump the article's
dateModifiedto the date of the correction. - Log the correction here, in the public log below.
We don't silently overwrite history. The whole point of writing in public is being accountable when the public catches you. Read more about how editorial decisions are made on our editorial policy page.
2. How to report a correction
Email max@thekreators.ai with:
- The article URL.
- The specific claim or sentence you're disputing (paste it).
- Your evidence — a primary source link, a measurement, a screenshot, your own published data.
We don't gatekeep on credentials. If your evidence is solid, we correct it whether you have a blue check or not.
3. Response time
We acknowledge correction requests within 48 hours. If the correction is confirmed, we update the article and log the entry within 7 days. If we disagree with the correction, we'll write back explaining why — and you're welcome to publish that exchange anywhere you like. We won't ask you to keep it private.
If a correction concerns a legal or financial claim that could materially mislead readers, we prioritize it ahead of the queue and aim for same-day correction.
4. Past corrections
No corrections logged yet — we'll add them here as they arise.
