Ad creative strategy · performing ads at volume · Meta

$0 retainer.7.5% of the spend on our ads. Nothing else.

Ad creative strategy and performing ads at volume: a new batch every week, so your account never fatigues and never stops testing. $0 up front, 7.5% of what you spend on our ads, nothing on anything else. If they don’t earn budget, we don’t earn a cent.

written by the two of us, September 2026

See if you qualify. Two minutes.

Four questions, then a call with Jack or Max. We answer inside 24 hours.

Put us up against whoever makes your ads today.

Your designer. Your freelancer. Your agency. Keep them, we mean it. Give us a lane in the same account, same month, same rules, and let the scoreboard talk. Most creative teams sell you their taste. We sell you a fight we have to win to get paid. Our engine does not get tired, does not get precious about its ideas, and gets sharper with every batch it runs: fatigued ads are retired, winners are scaled, and every loser teaches the next batch. If they beat us, we leave and you paid nothing. If we beat them, you already know what to do.

“Anyone can make a hundred ads now. The machine is not the edge. Knowing which three to scale, and having the nerve to bet our fee on them, is.”

Where we are coming from

The state of play, in three lines.

From the founders behind $45M in revenue and $10M of Meta spend. What we see in every account that comes to us, and why this offer is priced the way it is.

01

Creative is cheap now.

Anyone can make a hundred ads before lunch now, us included. Every agency you’ll talk to has the same tools. Volume stopped being an edge last year.

02

Performance is the whole game.

Your cost per result is decided by the ad, not the targeting. The account with the better ads wins the auction, every day, at every budget. That is the only thing worth paying for.

03

So we priced ourselves on it.

No retainer. 7.5% of the spend that runs on our ads, nothing on the rest. If our ads don’t earn budget in your account, we don’t earn. We would rather have it that way.

The deal

The deal, in one line.

7.5% of the monthly Meta spend that runs on the ads we made. No retainer, no setup fee, no minimum, no cut of anything else in the account.

7.5%

of the monthly spend that runs on our ads

Read at ad level in your Ads Manager. Nothing on your other ads, nothing on media, nothing fixed.

One rate, whatever the volume. If you scale, that is your win, not our excuse to renegotiate.

The rules of the count

What counts, and what never does.

Two things we invoice on. Three things we never will. Written into the agreement before the first ad goes live.

What counts

  • Only our creatives.Every ad we make carries our naming convention. Your Ads Manager, ad level, is the ledger. Nothing else counts.
  • Only on spend that actually ran.Spend, not budget. 7.5 % of it, read from the account on the first of the month, reconciled with you, invoiced after.

What never counts

  • Your existing ads.Whatever runs on your creatives, or your other agency’s, is yours. We do not touch that line.
  • A retainer, a setup fee, a minimum. There is none. The month we do not scale anything is the month you pay nothing.
  • Media. You keep the ad account and pay Meta directly. We never hold your budget.

The challenge

Keep your agency. Put us in the same account.

We are not asking you to fire anyone. We are asking for a lane.

We could push volume to 8,000 to 10,000 leads a month tomorrow. What limits the scale today is the size of their sales team, which they have been growing for almost a year to keep up.

A note from the two of us

To the founder reading this

We are two people. Here is the deal, in our own words.

There is no account manager between you and us, and there is no retainer, because a retainer pays an agency whether the ads work or not. We took that off the table.

You keep your agency, your account and your budgets. We get a lane in your Ads Manager under our own naming. Every week we put new ads in it, scored before they run. You pay 7.5% of what you spend on those ads, read at ad level, reconciled with you before the invoice. If they do not earn budget, we do not earn.

We built this engine for our own store first, the one that did $100,380 in a day. Now we want more partners and more receipts, fast, so a handful of advertisers get it at zero retainer. We read every account ourselves, which is why the roster stays short.

Put us in competition with whoever makes your ads today. It pushes us, and you keep the winner.

Jack & Max

co-founders, CRANK 11. You talk to us, nobody else.

PS. We read your account before the first call, so it starts at the audit.

The engine, in three lines

Angles from your reviews and your competitors.Ten per batch, statics and video, every placement.
  2. 02

Scored before launch, one concept per ad set.Spend limit set from your target cost per result.
  3. 03

Day seven, the decision tree decides.Winners get variants, losers get logged. Nothing runs on hope.

The first thirty days

How the first thirty days go.

Four steps, each with a date. You will know what happens before it happens.

  1. 01 · 48 hours

    The audit

You give us read access. We read your best and worst ads, write down your last thirty days’ cost per result, and agree on it with you. That number is the bar.

  2. 02 · Day 7

    The first batch

Ten angles, pulled from your reviews and your competitors. Statics and video, every placement, scored before anything goes live. Launched in your account under our naming.

  3. 03 · Days 7 to 21

    The test

One concept per ad set, spend capped from your target cost per result. On day seven the decision tree decides. Winners get variants. Losers get logged, not defended.

  4. 04 · Day 30

    The scale and the invoice

Budget moves to what beat the bar. On the 1st we read the spend behind our ads, send you the sheet, and invoice 7.5% of it once you have checked it.

What a week looks like here

Printed, sorted, crossed out. By hand.

The engine drafts by the hundred. The two of us still print the batch, put it on the wall and cross out the losers before anything goes live in your account.

  • Two pairs of hands sorting printed ad concepts into piles on a wooden table
Monday. Ten angles, printed and sorted by two people, not a dashboard.
  • Printed ad concepts taped on a dark wall, some crossed out with red marker, sticky notes between them
Wednesday. The batch on the wall. Losers crossed by hand.
  • A hand holding a phone showing an ad in a social feed
Thursday. In the feed, where it has to win.
  • A hand crossing out a printed ad concept with a red marker
Day 7. The decision, by hand. Losers get the marker.

Is this you?

Who this is for, and who it is not.

The floor is $100K a month. Under it, the ladder does not pay either side, and we say so before the call.

This is for you if

  • An online store or a lead-gen business spending $100K a month or more on Meta Ads
  • Tracking that works: pixel plus server events, a cost per result you trust
  • A product that already sells. We scale demand, we do not invent it
  • A founder who will let winners scale when the numbers say so

Not yet if

  • Under $100K a month on Meta. Below that, 7.5% does not pay either of us. Start with the Winning Ads Kit or a static creative batch, and come back when the spend crosses the floor
  • A brand that needs a rebrand before it needs ads
  • Anyone who wants our fee tied to a number Meta cannot measure

What you actually pay, in three situations

Same account, same month. The only thing that changes is whether our ads won.

A retainer is the same invoice whatever happened. Ours does not exist until an ad of ours beats your baseline, and then it is a slice of the spend that ad earned.

Questions

Questions founders ask before they say yes.

Why a percentage of ad spend and not of revenue?

Spend is the one number both of us can read in the same place, at ad level, without a debate about attribution windows. Revenue share needs your P&L; 7.5% of spend needs your Ads Manager. And it only exists on ads you chose to keep running, because they were working.

Doesn’t that give you an incentive to make us overspend?

You keep the account and you set every budget. An ad of ours that does not perform does not get budget, so it earns us nothing. We only earn on spend you scaled because it was working. That is the point of pricing it this way.

How do you count which spend is yours?

Every creative we ship carries our naming convention at the ad level. On the first of the month we export the spend behind those ads from your account and send you the sheet before the invoice. If we disagree on a line, it comes off.

Is there a minimum term or exclusivity?

No exclusivity. Keep your agency, put us next to them; we like the competition. Thirty days notice either way. Our creatives are yours to run forever from the first paid invoice.

Who runs the media?

You or your current team. The offer is the creative and the scoring; we sit in your Ads Manager to name, launch and read. If you want us to run the whole Meta account, that is a separate conversation on the call.

What if your ads do not work in our account?

Then you paid nothing and we ship the next batch, or we tell you honestly that we cannot beat what you have and we leave. We have no retainer to protect, so we have no reason to pretend.

Why 7.5%, and why flat?

A media-buying agency takes 8 to 12% of your whole account whether the ads win or not. We take 7.5% of the spend on our ads only. Flat, because a rate that changes with volume is a renegotiation waiting to happen. One number, written once.

Why $0 retainer? What is the catch?

No catch. We ran this engine on our own store and on client accounts; now we want more partners and more receipts, fast. Zero retainer is how we prove it without asking you to trust a deck. The window is early: we take a handful of partners at a time, because we read every account ourselves.

Four questions. Then a call with Jack or Max.
